Cybianthus magnus è un arbusto ornamentale che cresce fino a 1–2 m di altezza. Preferisce la mezz'ombra e condizioni di irrigazione medie, prosperando in terreni limosi o torbosi. Questo arbusto sempreverde fiorisce in rosa e bianco durante maggio, giugno e luglio, attirando gli impollinatori. È adatto alle zone USDA 8–10.
