Berberis yingjingensis, commonly known as Barberry, is an ornamental shrub that thrives in full sun and requires low water. It grows to a height of 1.2–2.5 meters and is suitable for USDA zones 5–8. The plant produces yellow flowers in May and June and prefers loamy, chalky, or sandy soil. It is not evergreen and is not toxic.
