Eryngium tenue, commonly known as Eryngium, is a perennial ornamental plant in the Apiaceae family. It requires full sun and medium water, growing to 0.4–0.8 meters in height in USDA zones 5–8. This plant blooms from July to September with blue and purple flowers, preferring loamy or chalky soil. It is non-fragrant but attracts pollinators and is not toxic or evergreen.
