Hair grass

Deschampsia barkalovii, known as Hair grass, is a perennial ornamental grass from the Poaceae family. It prefers partial shade and medium watering, suitable for USDA zones 4–9. This grass grows to a height of 0.4–1.2 meters and blooms from July to September. It thrives in loamy, sandy, and peaty soils. It is not fragrant, does not attract pollinators, is not evergreen, and is not toxic.
