European Gooseberry

Ribes uva-crispa var. sativum is a shrub that produces fruit, thrives in full sun, and requires medium watering. It grows to a height of 1–1.5 meters and blooms in April and May with white and pink flowers. This plant prefers loamy, clay, or sandy soil and is suitable for USDA zones 5–8. It is not fragrant, attracts pollinators, is not toxic, and is not evergreen.
