Acystopteris japonica, commonly known as Japanese curtain-fern, is a perennial ornamental fern that thrives in part shade with medium water requirements. This fern prefers loamy, sandy, or peaty soil and is not fragrant, does not attract pollinators, is non-toxic, and not evergreen.
