Agapetes merrilliana is an evergreen ornamental shrub belonging to the Ericaceae family, typically growing 0.5–1.5 meters tall. It requires part shade and medium watering, flourishing in loamy, peaty, and sandy soils. This species blooms in autumn, displaying red and pink flowers, and is attractive to pollinators. It is well-suited for USDA zones 7–9.
