Alder

Alnus × fallacina, commonly known as Alder, is a deciduous tree that prefers full sun and high water conditions. It grows to a height of 8–15 meters and blooms with brown and red flowers in April and May. This tree thrives in clay, loamy, or peaty soils and is suitable for USDA zones 4–7. It attracts pollinators, is not fragrant or evergreen, and is not toxic.
