Aeschynanthus andersonii, known as Anderson's Lipstick Plant, is a perennial ornamental from the Gesneriaceae family. It grows to 0.3-0.6 meters tall and prefers part shade with medium watering. Suitable for USDA zones 8-10, it blooms with red and orange flowers from July to October. It thrives in loamy or peaty soil, is not fragrant, attracts pollinators, is not toxic, and is not evergreen.
