Aster

Aster dolichophyllus, commonly known as Aster, is a perennial ornamental plant that thrives in full sun with medium water requirements. It typically grows to a height of 0.4–1.2 meters and is well-suited for USDA zones 3–8. This plant produces blue, purple, and pink blooms from August to October and prefers loamy, clay, or sandy soil. It is beneficial for pollinators but is not fragrant, toxic, or evergreen.
