Aster

Aster yamazutae is a perennial ornamental plant that thrives in full sun and requires medium watering. It grows to a height of 0.4–1 meter and is suitable for USDA zones 3–8. This plant produces purple, pink, blue, and white flowers in late summer and early autumn, blooming from August to October. It prefers loamy, sandy, clay, or peaty soil and is not fragrant, but attracts pollinators. It is not toxic and not evergreen.
