Aster

Symphyotrichum vahlii, commonly known as Aster, is a perennial ornamental plant that thrives in full sun with medium water requirements. It typically grows to a height of 0.6–1.2 meters and blooms from August to October with pink, purple, and white flowers. This plant prefers loamy, sandy, or clay soils and is suitable for USDA zones 4–8. It attracts pollinators but is not fragrant or evergreen, and it is not toxic.
