Acanthus villaeanus
Acanthus villaeanus, commonly known as Bear's Breeches, is a perennial ornamental plant that prefers part shade and medium water. It grows to a height of 0.6–1.2 meters and blooms in purple and white during months 6, 7, and 8. This plant prefers loamy, sandy, or chalky soils and is suitable for USDA zones 7–10. It attracts pollinators and is not toxic, but it is not evergreen.
