Phragmipedium brasiliense
Phragmipedium brasiliense is a perennial ornamental plant, commonly known as the Brazilian Slipper Orchid, that thrives in part shade with high water requirements. It grows to a height of 0.3–0.6 meters and blooms from July to October with green, white, and brown flowers. This orchid prefers loamy or peaty soil and is suitable for USDA zones 7–10. It attracts pollinators but is not fragrant, toxic, or evergreen.
