Senecio scoparius, commonly known as Broom Ragwort, is an evergreen ornamental shrub suitable for USDA zones 7-10. It thrives in full sun and requires low water, growing to a height of 0.6-1.5 meters. This shrub blooms with yellow flowers from May to July and prefers sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It attracts pollinators but is not fragrant and not toxic.
