Oryzopsis caduca, also known as Caducous Mountain Ricegrass, is an ornamental grass that requires full sun and minimal water. It is suitable for USDA zones 4–9, growing to a height of 0.6–0.9 meters. This grass prefers sandy, loamy, or chalky soils and blooms between July and September. It is not fragrant, does not attract pollinators, is non-toxic, and not evergreen.
