Cereus

Cereus aethiops, commonly known as Cereus, is a perennial ornamental cactus belonging to the Cactaceae family. It thrives in full sun with low water requirements and is suitable for USDA zones 9–11. This evergreen plant can grow to a height of 0.5–1.5 meters and produces white and pink fragrant flowers in the summer months. It prefers sandy, loamy, or chalky soils and attracts pollinators.
