Chaff flower

Achyranthes capilliflora is an annual ornamental plant belonging to the Amaranthaceae family. It requires full sun and medium watering, thriving in USDA zones 5–8. This plant grows to a height of 0.3–0.6 meters and blooms with pink, red, and white flowers from July to September. It prefers loamy, sandy, or clay soils and is beneficial for pollinators, though it is not fragrant.
