Catalpa ovata, commonly known as Chinese catalpa, is a deciduous tree that thrives in full sun with medium water needs. It typically grows to a height of 6–12 meters and is well-suited for USDA zones 4–8. This ornamental tree produces yellow and white flowers in late spring to early summer and prefers loamy soil.
