Aristea cistiflora
Aristea cistiflora, or Cistus-flowered Aristea, is a perennial ornamental plant from the Iridaceae family. It thrives in full sun and requires low water, growing well in USDA zones 7–10. This plant reaches a height of 0.4–0.7 meters and blooms from May to July with striking blue and purple flowers. It prefers sandy, loamy, or chalky soils. It is not fragrant, but it does attract pollinators, is not toxic, and is not evergreen.
