Cortexwood

Apeiba tibourbou, known as Cortexwood, is an ornamental tree that thrives in full sun and requires medium watering. It can grow quite large, reaching heights of 8–15 meters, and produces yellow flowers in mid-summer. This tree is suitable for USDA zones 5–8 and prefers loamy, sandy, or clay soils. It is not evergreen, not toxic, but attracts pollinators.
