Currant

Ribes contumazensis is a perennial ornamental shrub that prefers part shade and medium water. It grows to a height of 1–2 meters and is suitable for USDA zones 5–8. This shrub blooms in white and pink during the spring months (April, May) and prefers loamy, clay, or sandy soil. It is not fragrant, does not attract pollinators, is not toxic, and is not evergreen.
