Pleopeltis fallax, also known as Deceptive polypody, is a perennial ornamental fern that thrives in part shade with medium water requirements. It typically grows to a height of 0.3–0.5 meters and is suited for USDA zones 6–8. This evergreen fern prefers loamy, peaty soil and is not fragrant, does not attract pollinators, and is non-toxic.
