Cattleya pumila is a perennial ornamental orchid that thrives in USDA zones 10–11. It prefers full sun and medium water conditions, growing to a small height of 0.15–0.3 meters. This orchid blooms with purple, pink, and white flowers in the fall (September-November) and prefers loamy, sandy, and peaty soil. It is known to attract pollinators and is non-toxic, but it is not evergreen.
