Ebony

Diospyros normanbyensis, known as Ebony, is an ornamental deciduous tree that prefers full sun and medium watering. It is suitable for USDA zones 7–10, growing to a height of 8–15 meters. This tree produces white and cream-colored flowers in May and June. It prefers loamy, clay, or sandy soils. It is not fragrant, does not attract pollinators, is not toxic, and is not evergreen.
