Fagus

Fagus orbiculatum is a deciduous ornamental tree that thrives in part shade and requires medium watering. It grows to a height of 15–25 meters and is suitable for USDA zones 5–8. The tree produces green and yellow blooms in spring (April-May) and prefers loamy, clay, or sandy soil. It is not fragrant, attracts pollinators, is non-toxic, and not evergreen.
