Feather Reed Grass

Calamagrostis acutifolia is an ornamental grass that thrives in full sun and medium water conditions. It typically grows to a height of 0.8–1.5 meters and blooms with tan and beige colors from July to September. This grass prefers loamy, sandy, or clay soils and is suitable for USDA zones 3–9. It is not fragrant, but it does attract pollinators and is neither toxic nor evergreen.
