Hieracium retectum, commonly known as Hawkweed, is a perennial ornamental plant from the Asteraceae family. It prefers full sun and medium watering, thriving in loamy, sandy, or chalky soils. This species grows to a height of 0.3–0.8 meters and produces yellow blooms from June to August. It is suitable for USDA zones 4–8, attracts pollinators, but is not fragrant, toxic, or evergreen.
