Japanese persimmon

Diospyros japonica, commonly known as Japanese persimmon, is a deciduous ornamental tree that thrives in full sun and requires medium watering. It is suited for USDA zones 5–9, growing to a height of 5–10 meters. This tree produces white and cream flowers in late spring to early summer and has loamy, clay, or sandy soil preferences.
