Leather jacket

Alphitonia excelsa, commonly known as Leather jacket, is an ornamental evergreen tree that prefers full sun and low water conditions. It grows to a height of 8–15 meters in USDA zones 9–11 and blooms with white and cream flowers in July and August. This tree thrives in sandy, loamy, and clay soils and attracts pollinators.
