Lupine

Lupinus comptus, commonly known as Lupine, is an ornamental perennial that thrives in full sun with medium water requirements. It is hardy in USDA zones 4–8 and grows to a height of 0.6–1.2 meters. This plant blooms from May to July, displaying a variety of blue, purple, pink, yellow, and white flowers. It prefers loamy or sandy soils. It is not fragrant, attracts pollinators, is not toxic, and is not evergreen.
