Mascarene islands cabbage palm

Acanthophoenix rubra is an ornamental tree in the Arecaceae family, commonly known as the Mascarene Islands cabbage palm. It requires full sun and medium water, growing well in loamy, sandy, or clay soils. This palm can reach impressive heights of 10–20 meters and is suitable for USDA zones 9–11. It is an evergreen species.
