Sclerocactus glaucus, known as Mojave cactus, is an ornamental perennial cactus that requires full sun and low water. It is hardy in USDA zones 5–9, growing to a height of 0.1–0.3 meters. This cactus prefers sandy, loamy, or chalky soils and blooms with pink and purple flowers from May to July. It is evergreen and attracts pollinators.
