Aconitum amplexicaule
Aconitum amplexicaule, known as Monkshood, is a perennial ornamental plant that prefers part shade and medium water conditions. It grows to a height of 0.6–1.5 meters and blooms in shades of blue and purple from July to September. This plant thrives in loamy, clay, or peaty soil and is suitable for USDA zones 3–7. It attracts pollinators but is toxic.
