Pacific Serviceberry

Amelanchier alnifolia var. semiintegrifolia, commonly known as Pacific Serviceberry, is a fruit-bearing shrub that thrives in full sun with medium water requirements. It grows to a height of 1.5–4 meters and blooms with white flowers in April and May. This plant is suitable for USDA zones 4–8 and prefers loamy, sandy, clay, or chalky soils. It is not evergreen, not fragrant, but attracts pollinators and is not toxic.
