Pisonia

Pisonia apalachicolensis is an ornamental shrub in the Nyctaginaceae family, typically growing 1.5–3 meters tall. It thrives in part shade with medium water needs and prefers loamy, sandy, or clay soils. This shrub blooms with white flowers in July, August, and September and attracts pollinators. It is not fragrant, toxic, or evergreen, and is suited for USDA zones 5–8.
