Qualea

Qualea parviflora is a tree in the Vochysiaceae family, typically growing 5–15 meters tall. It is an ornamental plant that thrives in full sun with medium water requirements. It is suited for USDA zones 9–11 and prefers loamy or sandy soil. The plant blooms in May and June, producing purple and blue flowers.
