Oxyrrhynchium scabripes
Oxyrrhynchium scabripes, or Rough-stemmed Point-moss, is an ornamental perennial moss that prefers part shade and low water conditions. It thrives in sandy, loamy, or peaty soils within USDA zones 4-8, growing to a height of 0.01-0.05 meters. This evergreen moss is not fragrant, does not attract pollinators, and is non-toxic.
