Ruellia

Ruellia hartwegiana is a perennial ornamental plant that thrives in full sun and requires medium watering. It grows to a height of 0.6–1 meter and is suitable for USDA zones 7–10. The plant blooms from July to September, producing pink and purple flowers. It prefers loamy, sandy, or chalky soil and is not evergreen. It attracts pollinators but is not fragrant or toxic.
