Soapberry

Sapindus delavayi is an ornamental tree from the Sapindaceae family, growing 8–15 m tall. It prefers full sun and medium water, thriving in loamy, sandy, or clay soil. Suitable for USDA zones 5–9, this tree blooms in white and cream during July, August, and September. It attracts pollinators but is not fragrant or toxic, and it is not evergreen. Common names include Soapberry (en), Mydleniec (pl), and Mydlový strom (sk).
