Buxus austro-yunnanensis, the South Yunnan Boxwood, is an evergreen shrub belonging to the Buxaceae family. It prefers partial shade and medium water, growing to a height of 1–2 meters. Suitable for USDA zones 6–8, it thrives in loamy, clay, or sandy soils. While it attracts pollinators, its bloom time is unknown. It is not fragrant and not toxic.
