Sparse-flowered Yellow-eyed Grass

Xyris sparsiflora, commonly known as Sparse-flowered Yellow-eyed Grass, is a perennial ornamental plant that requires full sun and medium watering. It grows to a height of 0.3–0.6 meters and is suitable for USDA zones 5–8. This plant blooms from July to September with yellow flowers and prefers sandy or loamy soils. It supports pollinators but is not fragrant and not toxic.
