Subscabrous Sedge

Carex subscabrella, commonly known as Subscabrous Sedge, is an ornamental grass suitable for full sun and medium watering conditions. It is hardy in USDA zones 3-8 and typically grows to a height of 0.4–0.8 meters. This plant blooms in July, August, and September and prefers clay, loamy, or sandy soil. It is not fragrant, does not attract pollinators, is not toxic, and is not evergreen.
