Switchgrass

Panicum caparaoense is an ornamental grass that prefers full sun and low water conditions. It typically grows to a height of 0.9–1.5 meters and blooms from August to October. This grass thrives in sandy, loamy, and clay soils and is suitable for USDA zones 3–9. It attracts pollinators but is not fragrant, toxic, or evergreen.
