Switchgrass

Panicum cayoense is an ornamental grass that thrives in full sun and requires low water. It reaches a height of 0.6–1.5 meters and blooms from August to October. This grass is suitable for USDA zones 3–9 and grows well in clay, sandy, loamy, chalky, and peaty soils. It supports pollinators, is not fragrant, toxic, or evergreen.
