Switchgrass

Panicum crateriferum is an ornamental grass that prefers full sun and medium watering. It is suitable for USDA zones 3–9, with a height of 0.6–1.5 meters. This grass blooms in August, September, and October, and grows well in loamy, sandy, or clay soils. It attracts pollinators but is not fragrant, toxic, or evergreen.
